Men’s Groups (I-Groups in MKPLA)

After attending a New Warrior Training Adventure (NWTA) weekend, each man is invited to participate in a 10-week Personal Integration Training (PIT) which serves to help understand and apply the processes experienced in a NWTA. Once the skills learned in PIT are better understood, they become “tools” which serve men as they continue along their personal journey by participating in an I-Group (Integration Group). The MKPLA area PITs are lead by men of the MKPLA Community, and often hosted by I-Groups within the MKPLA area.

Essentially, an I-Group is a small group of men who gather on a regular basis, forming a more intimate circle which is safe and secure for men to share their deepest, darkest shadows, in an effort to reach personal goals to share more of their unique “gold.” Confidentiality is of utmost importance and, what is said and shared within I-Group circles stays there. Men often share their I-Group is the only time and place they have in their lives where they feel safe enough and supported when speaking openly and honestly about what’s going on for them, without fear of rejection or judgment.

I-Group members often support and challenge “brothers” within an I-Group circle to go deeper with their “work”, in ways which often lead to previously unidentified or unrecognized sources or triggers, so that a man may work on whatever it may truly be that might be holding him back from what he seeks or wants manifested in his life. Due to the individual personalities and needs of each I-Group, there are unique dynamics in each I-Group, and each man is invited to find the I-Group which embodies the safety and security necessary to feel empowered to continue the process of fulfilling their own Mission in their own lifetime.

MKPLA is host to men of great diversity and various backgrounds, and the community has a lot of I-Groups spread throughout the Greater Los Angeles Area. Below is a list, organized into geographic regions with the name and city location of each I-Group. You may access any individual I-Group by clicking on the named link. Each I-Group maintains their own rules or agreements, and they may meet every week, every two weeks, twice a month, or whatever works best for the men involved. You may choose to contact the man who is designated as I-Group Representative for the I-Group you are interested in.
